How We Got Here
JYS Trucking started in 2009 out of a small office in Kansas City with a single goal: make freight brokerage feel like a partnership. Our founders had spent years on the carrier side of the industry and knew firsthand how broken the shipper-broker relationship could be — slow communication, hidden fees, and brokers who disappeared when loads went sideways.
We built JYS differently. Every shipper gets a dedicated rep. Every load gets tracked. Every problem gets a phone call, not an email. Fifteen years later, we've moved over 50,000 loads and built a carrier network that spans every major lane in the country — but we still operate like a small shop that cares about every shipment.
